Considering signing up fo Mochi Health but you’re wondering how it works?
If you are thinking about becoming a Mochi Health patient, I can take you through the onboarding process.
- Go to JoinMochi.com and click on the Am I Eligible button.To be elibible, you need a BMI of 30 or a BMI or 27 with one weight related co-morbidity such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or obstructive sleep apnea. If you are already on a GLP-1 medication you can have a BMI as low as 20.
- Fill out the Patient Intake form.
- If you are eligible, you will then go on to pay the monthly fee of $79.00. Use my code YXLTB6 and you will get $40.00 off your first month, bringing down your first month payment to $39.00. The monthly fee covers your monthly visit with your physician and unlimited visits with a registered dietician.
- Next, make your first appointment with your physician via the patient portal. If you want to get a sooner appointment, you may be able to get a sooner appointment by calling the customer service number at (619) 648-1247 or email hello@joinmochi.com.
- Making an appointment with a registered dietician is optional. If you would like to make an appointment with a dietician, you can do so on the patient portal.
- The next step would be to meet with your physician. Your doctor will determine which medication is right for you. If you choose to use brand name medications like Mounajaro or Zepbound, your doctor will send your prescription to your pharmacy of choice. If you choose to use compounded medication (semaglutide or tirzepatide), then you will pay for your medication on the patient portal. Once you have paid for your prescription, the medication will be shipped to directly to you.
- Once you receive your medication and start taking your injection, schedule your next appointment with your provider.
